At St Peter's
Welcome to the Anglican church in Watsons Bay, Sydney, Australia, our services offer both traditional and contemporary styles of worship.
Being a near-city church, our congregation comes from all around the eastern suburbs of Sydney.
We hope that this website will give you a flavour of some of the exciting things happening and encourage you to come along and meet us in person.
You may well be wondering just what happens here during a Sunday service, and whether you’d feel comfortable with us. (We hope so!) Please read on.
What to Expect when you come to a service
When you come for a visit or to join our church family, you’ll see why our church is so active. Our Sunday morning worship services are led by a gifted organist at the 8.00am service and a music ministry team at the 10.00am service who truly desire that God be praised and adored. The messages are clear and practical.
Our ministries range from a Mothers Group with little children (Pete's Play Group) to Senior Saints meeting for a cuppa on Wednesday morning, organized and run by many willing volunteers. Our church is dedicated to serving you, our community and the world. Please come for a visit and we are sure that you will find a place where you can grow and become all that God has in mind for you!
As you look through all the information, you will find that there is something for everyone, whether you are old or young, male or female, whether you are looking for a Bible study, fellowship group or looking for assistance, prayer or just a friend. Have a look at the 'Information for visitors'
